QUALITFICATIONS: 

 
  • Must have good communication skills and be able to work with people from different departments in an office and manufacturing environment.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to motivate others and promote teamwork.
  • Must be able to change from one task to another frequently. 
  • Comply with all plant and safety rules, and company policies.
  • Adhere to safety, OSHA policies.
  • Must be committed to ISO 9001 and continuous improvement.




PRIMARY DUTIES:
 
  • Work on giving breaks and lunches or relieving personnel when necessary.
  • Supervise employees in the assigned department and insure the employees are performing their job duties.
  • Perform daily safety meetings
  • Complete and turn in reports pertaining to assigned department.
  • Follow and enforce company policies.
  • Communicate closely with production manager and other supervisors.
  • Communicate with maintenance personnel in order to keep production efficiency.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate attendance and payroll records.
  • Ensure self and subordinates adhere to safety policies.
  • Responsible for department housekeeping.
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Perform in other functions as directed
  • Ensure quality of scrap and work is to standards.
  • Coach and follow up on subordinates.
  • Assist with Safeguard policies and training.
