PRIMARY DUTIES:                                    
  • Use of powered and unpowered hand truck to position containers of chemicals and/or rubber
  • Capable of identifying different types of chemicals and rubber
  • Able to utilize the “#11 Banbury Mixing Sheet” to confirm the proper ingredients per batch
  • Can operate the #11 Banbury mixer in both auto and manual modes
  • Understands how to adjust the oil, whiting, and cycle temperatures on the PLC screen
  • Maintains a clean mixer, mixer door, and throat free of excess buildup
  • Clears batch and oil counter at the end of each work order and/or at the end of the shift
  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards
  • Commitment to ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and the system
  • Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
Hourly pay ranges from $21.62 to $21.94 based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for an annual performance increase, subject to or based on individual performance, business results, budgetary constraints, and other factors.
