PRIMARY DUTIES:
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Review daily orders and prioritize.
- Ensure correct products are loaded.
- Communicate customer requirements to Lead personnel.
- Determine whether to ship from production or inventory.
- Make decisions regarding substitutions.
- Work with Production Manager to generate a production schedule.
- Assist in determining monthly inventory levels.
- Aide in conducting quality checks on all returned goods.
- Communicate with Traffic Dispatcher/6014 Personnel.
- Coach and follow up on subordinates.
- Ensure subordinates adhere to safety rules.
- Adhere to safety, EEOC and OSHA policies.
- Ensure equipment security
- Housekeeping in shipping and warehouse area.
- Responsible for communicating and assisting in the preventive and predictive maintenance in assigned area.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
- Ensure quality of rolls and work is to standards.
- Initiate Corrective and Preventive action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process and the system.
- Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Should continuously observe the process in his/her area of responsibility and immediately notify the Traffic Manager of any suspected nonconformance.
